DURATION: 6-8 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays, three week sessions

Our Pre-Opti Class is designed to introduce the youngest sailors to the basics of sailing in a safe, encouraging, and joyful environment. They will gain confidence on the water while developing relationships with other sailors. Our US Sailing-certified instructors gently ease these little sailors into the sport with a variety of activities and games followed by on-the-water experience and instruction. Instruction will be on Optimist dinghies, an eight-foot boat specifically designed for the littlest sailors.

What to bring? 

All sailors need to bring a lifejacket, sunscreen, towel, and change of clothes. Shoes must be closed-backed (no flip-flops). Boats are provided.
