DURATION: Two weeks
PREREQUISITES: 420 Intermediate
Must have completed 420 Intermediate or equivalent and have an interest in learning the basics of racing. This program requires a solid understanding of 420 sailing and provides students with an introduction to racing.
Throughout each session, coaches will cover all aspects of racing on and off the water during practices. Sailors will have the additional opportunity to travel and compete in local Twin Cities Youth Sailing (TCYS) events that take place on Fridays throughout the summer. 2½ Hour class. Boats are provided during practice. Sailors will need to charter a boat for regattas that take place at lakes other than White Bear Lake. Please contact WBSS waterfront director for more details on chartering a boat.
Prerequisites: Age 12-17. Completion of 420 Intermediate class. Desire to learn to race.
