AGES: 12-17 and over 90 pounds
DURATION: Two weeks
Our Club 420 Beginner Classes are aimed to teach first time and less experienced sailors between the ages of 12-17 and over 90 pounds the basics skills needed to sail in a fun and safe recreational learning environment.
During each session, students will be taught the basic points of sail, how to rig and de-rig the boat, how to safely leave and return to the dock, knot tying, the basics of sail trim and general seamanship. Our certified staff of instructors will implement a variety of different sailing-based activities, both onshore and on the water, which will allow students to have fun and gain confidence while maximizing learning.
At the end of each session, instructors will suggest the next step for each student based on their progress. 2 ½ Hour Class. Boats are provided.
No prerequisite required.
