AGES: 18+
DURATION: 6-8 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays, three week sessions
PREREQUISITES: Adult Fundamentals class, or equivalent sailing knowledge, skills, and experience

Our brand new Adult Advanced sailing course allows you to build on your basic sailing knowledge and abilities!  Our instructors help you further hone your sailing skills and get introduced to a wider range of sailing techniques and practices.  This course covers topics including advanced rigging and boat handling considerations, sailboat racing rules and tactics, spinnaker use, and the specific nuances of sailing different types of sailboats.  In addition to using our 420 dinghies, instruction takes place using scows, keelboats, catamarans, and other sailboat types, giving you experience with sailing a wide variety of commonly used sailboats classes.  Basic sailing knowledge, skills, and experience equivalent to the Adult Fundamentals course are required for this course.

What to bring? 

All sailors need to bring a lifejacket, sunscreen, towel, and change of clothes. Shoes must be closed-backed (no flip-flops). Boats are provided.
